Jasser Abu Rbe’a
Jasser Abu Rbe'a (b. 1963) is a painter, sculptor and poet from Kuseife in the Naqab. In his work he uses natural materials and materials from his own personal world related to the Bedouin heritage and culture.
Jumana El Husseini
Jumana El Husseini (2 April 1932-11 April 2018) was a Palestinian painter and sculptor who lived in Paris. She studied painting, sculpture and ceramics in Beirut and Paris. Noted for figurative paintings of Palestinian women and geometric houses in Jerusalem and Jericho, her style evolved from realistic to geometric and, since 1987, to abstract, with wavelike overpainted drawings evoking Arabic calligraphy.
Khader Wishaḥ
Khader Wishaḥ (b. 1966) is a Palestinian painter born in Al Bureij refugee camp in Gaza and currently living in Rahat. In his work he deals with the Palestinian experience.

Laila Ajjawi
Laila Ajjawi (b. 1990) is a graffiti artist born and raised in a Palestinian refugee camp outside of Irbid, Jordan. Her work focuses on visibility for women living in the Middle East, particularly refugees facing discrimination and limited resources in their countries of residence. She has created murals with Women on Walls a public art project based in Egypt aimed at empowering women through street art.
Laila Shawa
Laila Shawa (b. 1940) is a Palestinian artist whose work has been described as a personal reflection concerning the politics of her country, particularly highlighting perceived injustices and persecution. She is one of the most prominent and prolific artists of the Arabic revolutionary contemporary art scene.
Maliḥeh Afnan
Maliḥeh Afnan (1935-2016) works with paper on an intimate scale to create works of refined beauty. Inspired by predominantly archeology and script, her works allude to ancient scrolls and tablets. Yet, at other times, her abstract works appear as landscapes, figures or relics that have been excavated from a long-forgotten site.
Afnan's most recent solo exhibition was her retrospective Personnages, at Man Museo D'arte Provincia Di Nuoro, Sardinia, 2019 curated by Luigi Fassi.

Nabil Anani
Nabil Anani (b. 1943) is a Palestinian artist and one of the founders of the contemporary Palestinian art movement. Anani was awarded (by Yasser Arafat) the first Palestinian National Prize for Visual Art in 1997 and became the head of the League of Palestinian Artists in 1998. On retiring from his teaching post in 2003, Anani has dedicated much of his time to voluntary pastimes, leading on the League’s activities and playing a key role in the establishment of the first International Academy of Fine Art in Palestine.
